(for those curious and not in the know, i is an imaginary number equaling the square root of -1 and pi is an irrational number)

in other news apparently some dude called Paul Ingrisano has claimed to copyright the greek letter pi (although we suspect his actual copyright is on the style he wrote it in and the giant full stop after it). This fool has also been trying to patent the good old internets "I<3" meaning I love. I think its safe to say Mr Ingrisano wont be feeling too many <3's any time soon if he keeps trying to copyright the alphabet one letter at a time.
